Let me introduce ourselves as a start-up located in Kerala, India and our focus area is renewable energy generation. The founders are classmates at engineering college and the core team combined has 70-plus years of experience in power and energy sector.
At this moment we are developing a 4 MW small hydro power project and another 2 small hydro projects (3.5 MW and 6 MW) are in pipeline.
Please note that we have already completed the toughest three initial stages of this project:
1. Completed Land acquisition
2. Secured all statutory clearances from various Government departments
3. Completed construction of the dam
What left are laying the penstock pipeline and installing the machinery at the power plant, which will hardly take 14-15 months and the target COD is June 2022.
For the ongoing project, we need debt funding of US$ 2.5 million and later we need US$ 10 million for the future projects.
